Comments: This surgery with Dr. Myers was amazing. The recovery working with Dr. Myers and the two OTs in his office gave me back full use of my right arm, and I could not be happier. I went from not being able to use my right arm to what I can do now. I garden, hoe weeds, dig in the dirt and transplant flowers and small trees, I’m pushing and pulling my garden cart full of dirt and plants, and I am 86 years old. Every day for the last six months I have followed exercises given to me by my OTs. When I have a difficult time reaching behind my back or chopping vegetables, or simply reaching for a jacket on a hanger, my therapists provide me with exercises that I can immediately use to help the strain on my body. I have reason to believe in medical miracles and this is one of them. Thank you Dr. Myers, and therapists Kathilyn Teague and Chad Umphress, the care you have given me over the past several months is the best ever! I will miss you, but I can always call if needed.
