Comments: I am writing to share my exceptionally positive experience with Dr. Dale Dellacqua and his team. In an age where patient care can often feel impersonal, Dr. Dellacqua stands out as a physician who generally cares.
I recently sustained an injury to my little finger, which led my primary care physician to refer me to a hand specialist. My initial experience with a different specialist was concerning: the “specialist“ never met with me, instead sending a physician’s assistant and nurse practitioner who relayed instructions after reviewing my x-ray. After two weeks and a follow up x-ray, I was told my break had worsened and required immediate surgery, scheduled for the following Monday. When I expressed discomfort with the lack of direct consultation and requested a second opinion, I was pressure to proceed, being told that any delay would negatively impact the outcome.
Thankfully, I sought a second opinion from Dr. Dellacqua. From our first meeting, he was outstanding. He clearly explained my three treatment options, and we scheduled my surgery within two days.
Dr. Dellacqua‘s office staff is incredibly knowledgeable and understanding. Dr. Dellacqua himself was the complete opposite of my prior experience. He took the time to speak with me and my friend before the surgery, demonstrating genuine compassion. After the surgery, I received a text message with instructions and a direct line for any questions. When I texted with concerns, I received a response within 10 minutes, both times inviting me to come to the office for a check up within the hour. The day after my surgery, Dr. Dellacqua personally called to check on my recovery. While I still have several weeks of recovery ahead, I feel fully supported by Dr. Dellacqua and his dedicated staff.
I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Dale Dellacqua to anyone in need of an arm or elbow surgery.
